Draper Temple Dedication

A few weeks ago Melissa and I went to the Draper Temple dedication at BYU.  It was such an amazing experience.  Seeing 10,000 hankerchiefs in the air as we shouted "Hosanna" was so powerful.  I couldn't hold back my emotions as we sang "The Spirit of God."  I love to live in a place where the temple is so close.  I've made a commitment to go more often and it has made my life better and happier.  

A Fun Fun Weekend!

Melissa invited me to go home with her to California this weekend.  What a blast!  We went to Disneyland, I played golf with her dad and brother, we ate at In and Out...

Running Long Distances

Last weekend I ran a half-marathon, which is 13.1 miles of pure pain.  It was really a rewarding experience because all of the months of training actually paid off.  It was the hardest thing I've ever done though and I'm not sure I'll ever attempt it again.  It was a fun experience though.

Golf Fever

Every year it happens. It only takes one time and I'm hooked. It's like an addiction or a sickness. I'm talking about "golf fever." I played Wasatch Mountain last week and I've found myself thinking about golf everyday lately. I can't get enough of it. Golf beckons me, especially in the early morning hours.

What makes golf so appealing, you ask? Is it the smell of the wet, freshly cut grass? Or the beautiful course and its surroundings? Could it be the feeling of putting an approach shot two feet from the pin?

Answer: D. All of the above.

New Car!

So here's the new car! It's a Nissan Altima SER 2005. Quite a step up from the Daewoo a.k.a. "The Flamer".

Hunter's Cabin

Last weekend we went up to a mansion cabin in Park City and enjoyed kababs, Rock Band, and camp fires. Here is Andie, Lisa, and Hunter looking at the many pictures that were taken during this excursion.

I was particularly impressed by Hunter's friend's ability at cooking the kabab meat. He did an incredible job! We're talking perfection. It was as if Bobby Flay himself made an appearance just for us.
